Noted writer and journalist Khushwant Singh passed away on Thursday. He was 99. Very sad to hear of the death of Khushwant Singh – great historian, novelist, editor, columnist, and a wonderfully kind, generous man. भारतीय साहित्य को अपनी मज़बूत क़लम के माध्यम से शिखर तक ले जाने वाले मशहूर साहित्यकार और वरिष्ठ पत्रकार का निधन उन सभी की आँखों में आंसू लाने की क़ूवत रखता है जिन्हें साहित्य में रूचि है और जो वाक़ई अच्छा साहित्य पढ़ने के भूखे हैं। सच में आज भारतीय साहित्य को एक बहुत बड़ी हानि हुई है। ‘There’s no CONDOM for a pen.” And he was the one who proved this through his work …!!!
